Mina (Louisiana) : ウィキペディア英語版 | Mina (Louisiana) The Mina was a well-organized African-American community sharing a common language in Louisiana. The community arose following their importation as slaves into Louisiana following 1782. ==1791 Mina conspiracy== This revolt began on the estate of Widow Provillar located at New Roads, in Pointe Coupee Parish. Juan Luis, who was held enslaved there, organized regular balls for Mina men. The only two non-Mina people involved were César, from Jamaica, and Pedro Chamba, who was ethnically Chamba, but had been raised by the Mina.
